The Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) is excited to host the 3rd Annual Regional Hiring Event on Wednesday, July 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Copperas Cove Civic Center, located at 1206 W. Avenue B.
As part of the CCEDC's Hire Cove workforce initiative, the Regional Hiring Event connects employers with qualified job seekers while providing workforce resources that strengthen the regional economy.
The event welcomes job seekers from across Central Texas and features employers representing a variety of industries and career opportunities.
"Our Regional Hiring Event has become more than just a job fair—it's a workforce development initiative that creates meaningful connections between employers and job seekers," said Brittany Sanders, Workforce Development Specialist for the Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation. "Whether someone is looking for their first job, a career change, or the next step in their professional journey, we want them to leave feeling encouraged and connected to new opportunities."
New this year is the addition of a Community Job Board, designed specifically for local businesses with smaller hiring needs. The job board will feature current employment opportunities from area businesses that may only be hiring one or two employees or are unable to dedicate staff to participate with a full employer booth.
This new feature expands opportunities for both employers and job seekers by showcasing even more available positions throughout the community.

- Workforce resources from regional partner organizations
- Opportunity for registered job seekers to win a Lenovo laptop by bringing a resume and completing a brief event survey
The event is made possible through the generous support of Gold Sponsors American Veterans Mission and H-E-B, whose continued investment helps expand workforce development opportunities throughout the region.
CCEDC also extends its appreciation to event partners Texas Veterans Commission and Workforce of Central Texas, whose expertise and resources provide valuable support to veterans, military-connected individuals, and job seekers throughout the event.
The Regional Hiring Event is free and open to the public. Job seekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume, dress professionally, and be prepared to meet directly with hiring employers.
