Homecoming king, queen to be crowned tonight

Tonight, three young men and three young women who are seniors at Copperas Cove High School will take to the field of Bulldawg Stadium and learn whose names will be called as the homecoming king and queen for 2016.
 
The Homecoming Court was named on Wednesday afternoon, to include Madelyn Miller, Freshman Duchess; Ashley Wilson, Sophomore Duchess; and Ariel Lewis, Junior Duchess.
 
The finalists for King and Queen are Sean Adams, Q’tarius Owens, and Juston Case for King; Devon Stevens, Skye Richard and Tessa Bliss for Queen.
 
Madelyn, sponsored by the golf team, is the daughter of Leah and Billy Miller and plans to become an occupational therapist. Ashley, sponsored by DECA, is the daughter of Kim and Chuck Wilson, and plans to attend Texas A&M and become an orthodontist. Ariel, sponsored by Wrestling, is the daughter of Milton and Cleo McDonald and would like to be an actress and/or motivational speaker.
 
Sean, sponsored by DECA, is the son of Shay Adams, and aspires to start his own business and open his own gym, after going to a four-year university to major in business marketing and play college football. Q’tarius, sponsored by the Thespian Club, is the son of Frederick Owens and looks ahead to becoming an actor and music composer. He plans to attend Stephen F. Austin University to major in acting and minor in business. Juston, sponsored by the Pride of Cove Band, is the son of Diana and Scott Case, and wants to be a professional traveling filmmaker after studying film at Texas State.
 
Devon is the daughter of Danielle Stevens-Roane and Danny Roane, sponsored by the Pride of Cove Band and Color Guard. She plans to attend the University of Buffalo in New York and become a physical therapist. Skye, sponsored by Soccer and Choir, is the daughter of Jenny and Christopher Richard. She aspires to be an elementary school teacher. In college, she plans to major in early childhood/elementary education and play soccer. Tessa, sponsored by the Culinary Club, is the daughter of Teri Bliss, and plans to study fashion merchandising at Texas Christian University and become a buyer for Dolce & Gabbana or Chanel, or become a personal stylist.
