The Copperas Cove Police Department is currently accepting applications for the 2017 Law Enforcement Explorer Program Academy. The program runs from July 10 through July 28, 2017. The program is designed for those aged 14-20 who are interested in a career in law enforcement.
Attendance during the program is strictly enforced, and each cadet will be required to maintain monthly training hours after graduating the academy.
Anyone wishing to apply for the Class of 2017 should contact the Copperas Cove Police Explorer coordinator, officer William Hughes, at the Copperas Cove Police Department 254-547-8222 or Copperas Cove High School 254-547-2534.
Applications will be accepted until April 30.
