Copperas Cove residents asked to conserve water

Copperas Cove residents are being asked to conserve water due to a water leak on the Bell County WCID #1 48” main line, which has affected the water resources coming into Copperas Cove, according to a press release issued by the city of Copperas Cove on Sunday afternoon.

"We have increased our storage levels and for the moment do NOT anticipate any loss of service to our residents or businesses. This situation may be resolved as quickly as tomorrow, however we wanted to keep our citizens notified and ask for voluntary water conservation," stated Kevin Keller, the city's public information officer.

Water Distribution will continue to monitor the situation and the City will provide updates as we have then. Thank you and have a great rest of your weekend.
