Justin Best of the Royals 12U baseball team stumbles in to second base in front of the tag attempt of Cardinals shortstop Josiah Key during their Copperas Cove Parks and Recreation league game Tuesday at Copperas Cove City Park.

Royals remain perfect in 12U boys league extending record to 5-0.
The Royals 12U baseball team (5-0) defended their unbeaten streak in grand fashion on Tuesday night when they dispatched the Cardinals (2- 2) during Copperas Cove Parks and Recreation league play at Copperas Cove City Park. “Defense has been a huge improvement and pitching has been lights out when we go to our guns,” said Royals head coach Todd Fox. “Hitting has been sub-par, we
could do better although we’re scoring 23 points per game.”
