KILLEEN – Driven, focused, technical and hard-nosed are terms used to describe senior Lane Teeter and now another term used to describe him is champion – Three-time champion to be more specific.

“To win it three times, that’s an accomplishment - that all comes back to his work ethic in the wrestling room,” said Cove head wrestling coach Jeremy Shannon. “He comes to work every single day and I’m proud of him for that. I think he left a legacy for a lot of kids to follow.”

Teeter seemed to be toying with his 113-pound opponents as he displayed dominant positions time and time again but seemed hesitant to end the match.
