H.O.T. Bowl Saturday

A familiar face will return to Bulldawg Stadium on Saturday. Phillip Baptiste, a record-setting receiver for the Bulldawgs last year, will return to Copperas Cove donning Cardinal red as a member of the Trinity Valley Community College Cardinals in the first game of the college football double-header during the 14th Annual C.H.A.M.P.S. Heart of Texas Bowl on Saturday. “We’re excited about Phillip (Baptiste) coming back,” said McAnally. “He’s doing a good job down there and he got into the end zone recently. “The teams that participated in the bowl last year got a leg up on recruiting. They got to meet and visit with Phillip and he got to see their highflying attack, which helped him make his decision.”
