Everybody in the greater Copperas Cove area knows the names Robert Griffin III, Charles “Peanut” Tillman and now Manny Harris – unless they live under a rock. Names they will soon get to know – if they don’t already know – are Tyrell Thompson and Jaylen Waters. Thompson, a 6-foot-4, 260-pound defensive end that runs a 4.6-second 40-yard dash made a name for himself so much as a junior that he received looks from Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas State, and Texas-San Antonio before making his commitment to the University of Houston during his junior summer.
