Bulldawgs find their way in 51-40 win

By TJ MAXWELL

The Bulldawg football team has been searching to find their identity since starting quarterbackManny Harris went down with an injury 24 seconds into game two of the season. That identity may have been discovered during their 51-40 win over Schertz-Clemens Friday night at Lenhoff Stadium in Schertz. The Bulldawgs were a passheavy offense with Harris at the helm. The Bulldawgs put up 353.2 yards per game through the air with 283 completions on 469 attempts while averaging 160 on the ground on 343 attempts. In Friday’s win, the Bulldawgs (2-2) gave the Buffaloes (2-2) a taste of their own medicine and simply bowed their necks and shoved it down their throats with power running and play action pass off of the run. The Bulldawgs nearly doubled the offensive output of the Buffaloes 475 to 252 on just 21 more plays, 77 to 56, respectively.
