Cove returners bolster reloaded offense

By TJ MAXWELL

The Bulldawgs have been chomping at the bit all summer to get back on the field against another team after a tumultuous season that had one of the most prolific offenses in the state but fell short of their ultimate goals – winning district and state. They get that chance to face off with someone not donning the Blue and Gold today when they travel to Abilene’s Shotwell Stadium to take on the Eagles, and starting right tackle Remington Weis can’t wait. “I think we already know what we’re going to go up there and accomplish,” he said. “You don’t want to hurt your teammates but you want to go hard. In Abilene we don’t have to worry aboutthat, we can go full out.”
