Defense looks to be much improved

Coming off of one of the most prolific offensive displays in the state of Texas last year, the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs know that it takes more than an overpowering offense to make a deep run in the playoffs – you must be sound in all facets of the game. One facet the Bulldawgs are looking to improve this season is the defensive play. The Bulldawgs gave up more than 36 points per game a year ago – a part of history they don’t plan to relive this year. Cove senior speedster defensive back Andrew Leuthner says leadership will be a key to their turnaround in 2014.
