Cove Crusaders go 10-0 in Belton Fall League

Members of the Copperas Cove Lady Dawgs basketball program got their season kicked off a little early with participation in the Cove Crusaders club team in the Belton Fall League. “The high school coaches asked me to coach the girls in this program, because it’s against UIL rules for them to participate in any after school functions right now,” said Crusaders head coach Eddie Wilson. “It’s a fall league to give these teams an opportunity to start playing together against live competition.” With the University Interscholastic League season rapidly approaching, the league gives players an opportunity to hone some of their skills before mixing it in UIL play.
