Sandra Lynn Roth-Smith, 56, of Kempner passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015. Funeral Services will be at 10 AM on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Scott’s Funeral Home of Copperas Cove with burial following at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery with honors.
Sandra was born on July 3, 1959 in Buffalo, New York to the late Robert and Carol Langendorfer Roth. She graduated from West Seneca West High School in 1977. After high school, she joined the United States Army in Buffalo, NY and served for 4 years in the 13th COSCOM. She was honorably discharged while at Fort Hood, TX and settled in Copperas Cove. She later married Fletcher Lee Smith, Jr. in October of 1985. Sandra worked at Pizza Hut in Copperas Cove for over 18 years and enjoyed being an assistant manager and cook. She also had a great love for animals, having many pets over the years. Sandra enjoyed supporting her two daughters, even serving as a troop leader for their Girl Scout troop.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 30 years, Fletcher Lee Smith, Jr.; daughters, Rachel Roth-Smith (27) formerly of Brooklyn, NY; Grace Roth-Smith (25) of Copperas Cove, TX; a granddaughter, Evelyn Harper Lynn Roth-Smith- 6 months old; sisters, Pattie Parks, Kathleen Roth and her beloved pets.
