Williams/Ledger hosts Career Day

Students learn of future career opportunities.

By KERRI CHRISTENSEN

The Williams/Ledger Elementary school held its second annual Career Day for students to help them find their future Tuesday, allowing them to explore a variety of careers. A couple of the most popular careers at the event were transportation and nutrition. “The children love the big tools and they love to learn about nutrition. This is the first time that we had a nutritionist at career day,” said CCISD counselor, Andrea Porter. The school believes that not all students have the same career path and that this event gives the children the opportunity to see different career paths such as armed forces, police officers, mechanics, National FFA Organization, etc.
