A little more than three years after work began on the southeast bypass, the project is now 88.77 percent complete as of July 1. “The latest project schedule is showing a fall 2014 completion,” said Kenneth Roberts, the Texas Department of Transportation’s public information officer for the Waco District. “The contractor is finishing up on the last of the structures, the FM 3046 overpass and the large box culvert on FM 3046. They will also be finishing up with the work on the roadway along FM 3046. The work at FM 2657 is ongoing and should be completed within the next couple of months.
