Pausing from their daily routine, soldiers from the HHC 89th Mili-tary Police Brigade took an opportunity Thursday to read to the children of their adopted school. Nearly a dozen soldiers volunteered to read patri-otic books to students from Kindergarten through fifth grade selected by the li-brarian Roseanne Dietze.“We do this every year to honor September 11 and the soldiers are good role models for our kids and they really look up to them,” said Dietze.“They will come several more times periodically to read to the students and it is a blessing to have such an active Adopt-A-Unit.”
