By DAVID MORRIS

All three candidates involved in the bid for Copperas Cove City Council Place 5 seat vacated by Kenn Smith in March issued their expense reports to the Texas Ethics Commission in mid- July with top vote getter Kirby Lack spending the most followed by Azeita Taylor and finally George Duncan. Duncan who reported the most spending during the first round of reporting, opted for the more conservative route during the latter part of his campaign, spending $237 on advertising with the Leader-Press for a total expense for his campaign coming to $1,428.71.
