National Night Out Kickoff Party

The 19th Annual National Night Out Kickoff Party will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Copperas Cove Police Department is hosting the event in downtown Copperas Cove at Avenue E and South Main Street. Hotdogs, chips, cookies, popcorn, and soft drinks will be served. Numerous children and adult activities, as well as door prizes will be given away. Some events are no charge and others are priced at only 25 cents. McGruff the Crime Dog, Sparky the Fire Dog, Eddie Eagle, and H-E-Buddy will all also be at the party. Musical entertainment will be provided by the YMCA with special guest Joe Lombardi announcing throughout the evening.
