JROTC receives donation for sweatshirts, hosts faculty team building obstacle course

Twisting and turning, pushing themselves to the limits, three teams comprised of faculty from Copperas Cove High School competed in a team building exercise, running the JROTC obstacle course climbing walls, low-crawling through barbed wire and clearing four foot hurdles Wednesday afternoon. “Zook wanted to put together a team building exercise and came to the JROTC program for ideas,” Chief Enrique Herrera said. “What really impressed me as they moved through the course was the boards event where they have to have a lot of collaboration and communication. They got through that obstacle really quick and shows that they were working as a team and thinking on their feet.”
