Exchange Club passes out flags, Excel installs new officers

The Copperas Cove High School EXCEL Club ended the 2015-2016 school year with the installation of new officers for the 2016-2017 school year.
 
Officers were previously elected at the club’s last regular meeting in May.
 
Mike Blount, past Texas District President, conducted the officer installation.
 
Officers installed were John Grabowski as club President and Taylor Flores as President-elect. As Presidentelect, Taylor will assist the President in his duties during the 2016-2017 year and become the President for the 2017-2018 school year.
 
Destiny Frank, who was this year’s president, was installed as the new Treasurer. Asia Dennis, the new secretary, was unable to attend the ceremony. Rachel Pierce was re-installed as historian.
 
Two new members were added to the Board of Directors. Newcomers Jordan Fraser and Tristan Alesick joined current board members Blair Fraser, Dalton Penick, Anthony Palmisano and Christian Schaefer.
 
The EXCEL Club is a collaboration between the National Exchange Club, the Noon Exchange Club of Copperas Cove and Copperas Cove High School. The EXCEL Club is an organization for young high school students who want to improve their community, make friends, and have fun.
