About ten people showed up to the first ever Young Professionals Mixer, sponsored by the Copperas Cove Chamber of Commerce, held Thursday evening at Unwind! Tasting Room and Café.

Copperas Cove residents came out to the grand opening of Pet Supplies Plus over the weekened. Shoppers had the chance to cast votes for one of three local shelters to receive a $1,000 donation from Pet Supplies Plus, with the other two shelters each receiving $250.
