For a good way to beat the heat and get in shape, Copperas Cove’s South Park offers water aerobics and Aqua Zumba classes throughout the week.

Volunteers showed up in force on Saturday to wash cars for Pink Warrior Angels, a new nonprofit headed up by Julie Moser, a breast cancer survivor.
