Noah Luna, a junior at Copperas Cove High School has been nominated to travel to Boston as a delegate to the Congress of future Medical Leaders. The purpose of the event is to honor, inspire, motivate and direct top students from around the United States who aspire to be physicians or medical scientists.

Luna has never had less than an “A” since his time in elementary school at Clements Parsons Elementary and while in high school, he has maintained a 4.6 gpa. Not only has he excelled with his academic endeavors, he has always been a standout athlete and is just one race short of a trifecta for 2016. Noah admits that his favorite sport is soccer. He also mentors many young athletes in the Copperas Cove youth football, soccer and basketball leagues.

Luna wants to become an anesthesiologist. He said to be able to help people and relieve pain is something he really wants to do. He is looking forward to possibly either attending the University of Texas medical school or if possible, the Air Force Academy.
