Better than chocolate

By Renae Brumbaugh

Trick-or-treating was interesting last year. Having just finished up a season of performing in “The Promise,” a musical presentation of the life of Christ, I saw all the costumes in a totally different light. Instead of being scared of all the little devils running around, I just laughed. After all, I know the end of the story. And although I usually see lots of mummies and zombies roaming the streets on Halloween night, this year, I didn’t see any. I did, however, see tons of people dressed up like Lazarus, emerging from the tomb. Go figure.
