Copperas Cove senior Ashley Hartwell has secured herself as the go to pitcher for Lady Dawgs softball coach Shelly Hays after winning two of three games in pool play of the Taylor Lady Ducks invitational and helping the Lady Dawgs advance to the Championship game against Salado. In bracket play, the top seeded Lady Dawgs defeated Waco Robinson 7-4 and Rogers 3-2 before falling to Salado in the championshp round 4-2.
