My three-year education

The date snuck up on me this year, March 15th. It marked the three-year anniversary of submitting my very first news article for the Copperas Cove Leader-Press. From that very first article—covering a city council meeting—it's been quite an education for me. I consider myself a long-time Covite, having passed the 21-year mark in February. However, until the last three years, I really didn't have a clue about how many things work in our fair city. Hey, I was busy like many people, working a traditional job and busy raising a family.
