Lady Dawgs fall short to Ellison on senior night

The Copperas Cove Lady Dawgs played their final home game of the season matching up against the Ellison Eagles for the final playoff spot in District 8-5A. Holding a one game advantage over the Lady Eagles, Copperas Cove let the advantage slip away as the Eagles outscored them 2-0 to take control of their destiny with the goal advantage tie breaker. “I'm disappointed in our ball control,” said Lady Dawgs coach Hagen Streckel. “Our effort was top notch, but we failed to control the ball.”
