CTC group pitches in at Cove House

Steban Ramos and Corey Hobbs install a new ceiling fan in the men’s building at Cove House. The Enactus Club from CTC won a $2,000 grant and began making improvements and upgrade to the facility on Friday.

Volunteers from the Enactus group at Central Texas College recently put a little muscle behind the grant money they won on behalf of the Cove House Emergency Homeless Shelter. The group of four, led by CTC student Steban Ramos, installed new light fixtures and replaced light bulbs in the men’s building on Friday in addition to putting new batteries in smoke detectors.
