Copperettes bring home trophies from Belton

The Copperettes Dance and Drill team attended the Showtime International Central Texas Dance Classic 2013 on February 23 at Belton High School and brought home a pile of awards. The varsity Copperettes took the Energy Award for the highest energy all day on all routines and was also awarded the Champions Circle award along with the officers. The varsity and officers also won the sweepstakes and judges award on three routines. In addition, the varsity won second place in modern dance, second place in hip-hop and first place in novelty. The officers received first place in hip-hop and officer pom. They also took home second place in officer jazz. The junior varsity won first place in jazz and took Division I for one routine. Medium ensemble raked in first place as well.
