A CCPD motorcycle officer and patrol officer block off South Second Street Monday morning when a Copperas Cove Independent
School District bus was caught up in a downed power line. A fence toppled over by the wind on Monday in the backyard
of a home off of Golf Course Road. Downed power lines and tree branches were also an issue for Cove as gusts upwards of 40 miles
per hour blew through the city. After it was determined the power line was dead, it was rolled up and placed by the pole.
