Silvia Rhoads named affiliate member representative for Keep Texas Beautiful

The City of Copperas Cove is pleased toannounce Silvia Rhoads,  ecycling Coordinator for  he City of Copperas Cove  nd Keep Copperas Cove Beautiful Executive Director, has been selected to serve on the Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) Board as the state affiliate representative. Silvia will spend the next two years on the Keep Texas Beautiful Board as the liaison for more than 370 KTB affiliate members. Her duties will include, to serve on at least one committee, actively participate in fundraising activities, participate in making decisions on issues, policies and other board matters, and support KTB events through attendance and participation. The City of Copperas Cove is thrilled to see Silvia serve in this position and feels certain she will surpass all expectations. Keep Texas Beautiful, a statewide grassroots environmental and community improvement organization and affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, strives to educate and engage Texans to take responsibility or improving their community environment. KTB and  its more than 370 affiliates work with government, businesses, civic groups and volunteers to ensure that every Texan has the opportunity to take individual responsibility  or making Texas he cleanest, most beautiful state in the nation
